Who writes and reviews our content
Our tarot content is written and reviewed by Olivia Rivera — a tarot reader, author, and spiritual educator based in Santa Fe, New Mexico — and is attributed on each page with a publication and review date. Olivia's role is to keep every interpretation faithful to tradition, honest about what tarot can and can't do, and genuinely useful to the reader.
How we review
- Draft against primary sources (see below), not other websites.
- Review by Olivia for accuracy, tone, and responsible framing.
- Fact-check historical and correspondence claims against reputable references.
- Date-stamp on publish, and update the date whenever we materially revise a page.
How we source meanings
Card meanings draw on established tarot tradition and primary sources, including A. E. Waite's Pictorial Key to the Tarot (1910) and the public-domain Rider-Waite-Smith deck (1909). Historical claims are checked against reputable references, and we correct myths rather than repeat them.
Accuracy & corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and note material changes. Spot an error? Tell us.
Responsible, non-harmful guidance
Tarot on this site is for reflection and entertainment. We do not present readings as medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and we signpost professional help where a topic calls for it. We avoid fear-based content and never promote predatory "psychic" services.
Independence & disclosure
Where a link is a paid or affiliate placement, we disclose it and mark it appropriately. Commercial relationships never determine our ratings or recommendations.
AI use
We use tools to assist production, but content is human-directed and human-reviewed before publishing. We do not publish unreviewed, machine-generated pages.
